10 thoughts you have before hitting publish on your blog posts…
1. You come to know that blogger app has been removed App Store (you never knew it until now that it has been months since this was done and been ages since you remembered you even had a blog :’))
2. You find yourself getting a panic attack – “OMG! How could they do it without letting me know” (Mind voice: As if you had tonnes of posts and thousands of followers on Blogger.. ALSO.. you removed the app from your phone long ago without finding any use for it! :’))
3. You ignore the little voice at the back of your head and reassure yourself checking your account that it is just the app that was discontinued and not the site itself.
4. An article that you read weeks’ back comes to your mind – “Google discontinues a so and so product which was performing well and it is wise to get your blog shipped to WordPress before this gets discontinued too”. So you decide to do exactly the same.
5. You google the steps and realize you cannot upload the XML file containing your blog posts from blogger, in office. (Of course, you do such stuffs ONLY at office! :P)
6. You get it done on mobile finally. You are excited about all the customization that could be done to your blog on WordPress.
7. You customize.. customize… customize… sooo looong… that you finally get bored, remove everything that screamed, “You are sooo being sillyyyy” and settle for a simple one.
8. You find out you cannot post this as an update as there is no new post actually! :O You really want to post something and realize you have nothing meaningful to share or anything great that others would find interesting.
9. You finally make peace with the fact that you have no audience to your posts irrespective of whether they are on Blogger or WordPress, unless you torture them to read! So you share it to all your whats-app groups, as always :’) :’)
10. You give yourself a pep talk and decide to publish and share this post 🙂
when exactly a pop-up notification says, “Time-sheet overdue.. Time-sheet overdue!!” and you realize you have been snoozing the notification for 3 hours already and its time to take care of it! 😀
